We have answered some frequently asked questions on what to expect at your physiotherapy appointments.  We pride ourselves in creating a welcoming atmosphere and want to ensure that your experience with physiotherapy is a positive one.

Below we have answered some questions on what to expect; if should have more specific questions please discuss them with your therapist upon arrival.

Physiotherapy is a method of treatment for certain physical impairments, disabilities, and injuries. You can expect a through evaluation by a physiotherapist who will create a plan of treatment for your specific diagnosis.

Frequency of attendance is dependent upon your diagnosis. However, a typical plan of care for physiotherapy includes attendance three times per week.

Appointments for physiotherapy vary in length depending on your diagnosis(es) and activity level. Typical appointments are approximately one hour in length.

Comfortable clothing that you are free to move in.

On your first visit to physiotherapy, you will be assigned to (a doctor of physical therapy who will work with you throughout your entire episode of care. You will fill out paperwork specific to your diagnosis to give your therapist an understanding of your history. Your therapist will then complete a thorough evaluation that could potentially include diagnostic testing and range of motion measurements. You may be started with some exercise and treatment with modalities (heat, ice, electrical stimulation, ultrasound, etc.). It is at this visit that the frequency and duration will be determined.

At Amazing physiotherapy and wellness center  we work with patients with all types of insurances. At your first visit you should be counseled by a billing representative who will inform you of your specific coverage and personal responsibility.

We do not offer full or partial refunds for unused services and packages — including massage therapy, personal training and fitness center memberships.

If your plans change and need to cancel your appointment, please give us 24 hours’ notice — otherwise, you may be charged a cancellation fee. We recommend that you schedule appointments far enough in advance to ensure you receive the time slots you need.

Thank you for your patronage We hope you are happy with your treatment. However, if you are not completely satisfied with our service within 3 days of your treatment sessions and you need a refund of your outstanding, we shall refund, but any refund after the stipulated days will not be honoured.
